Last updated: 17 October 2026
By registering for Ultra5K Munroe Edition on 6 and 7 February 2027 (the "event"), organised by GOAT Adventure Private Limited ("GOAT"), I agree to the following:
1. Eligibility and accurate information
- I will be at least 18 years old on 6 February 2027.
- I meet the eligibility for my category. The proof of a qualifying finish I have uploaded is genuine and from the previous 12 months.
- All the information I have given, including my health declaration and emergency contact, is true and complete. I will tell GOAT if it changes before race day.
2. Medical fitness
- I am physically fit and have trained enough to run my chosen category.
- I understand that endurance running carries a risk of serious injury, illness and, in rare cases, death. I am responsible for checking my fitness with a doctor before the event.
- I have declared any medical condition, allergy or medication that the medical team should know about.
- I will not take part if I am unwell, injured or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
3. Risks I understand and accept
I understand that the event takes place on Munroe Island. The course runs on public village roads and canal bunds, close to canals, rivers and Ashtamudi Lake, and much of it is run at night. The risks include:
- heat, high humidity, dehydration and heat illness;
- running in the dark on partly lit roads;
- narrow and uneven surfaces, bridges, and roads that stay open to local traffic;
- the nearness of open water;
- animals and insects;
- contact with other runners, vehicles and members of the public.
I take part voluntarily and accept these risks.
4. Rules and race officials
- I will follow the race rules, carry the mandatory kit, and follow instructions from race officials, marshals, the police and the medical team.
- The medical team or the race director may stop me from starting or continuing at any time. Their decision is final.
- I will respect the residents of Munroe Island, keep the course free of litter, and keep noise down at night.
- My bib is personal and I will not let anyone else use it.
5. Medical treatment
I consent to receiving first aid and medical treatment, including being taken to a hospital, if the medical team thinks it necessary. I understand that the cost of any treatment beyond on-site first aid, and of hospital care, is mine.
6. Release and indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, I release GOAT, its directors, team, volunteers, sponsors and partners from liability for any injury, illness, death, loss or damage I suffer in connection with the event. Partners include Munroethuruth Grama Panchayat, Chittumala Block Panchayat and Soles of Kollam. This release does not apply to loss caused by their gross negligence or wilful misconduct. I also agree to indemnify them against claims that arise from my own breach of the rules or false information.
7. Personal belongings
GOAT is not responsible for the loss of, or damage to, personal belongings, including items left in the drop-bag area.
8. Photos, video and results
I agree that GOAT and its media partners may photograph, film and record me during the event. They may use my name, image, voice and results, without payment, in race coverage, results, social media, advertising and promotion of GOAT events, in any media and for an unlimited period.
9. Changes to the event
GOAT may change the course, schedule, categories or format, or cancel or postpone the event, for safety or other reasons. Refunds in those cases follow the refund policy.
10. Personal data
I consent to GOAT using my personal data as described in the privacy policy. This includes sharing my health declaration with the medical team and my emergency contact in an emergency.
11. Governing law
This waiver is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
